A little ruffle never hurt nobody…
Happy Wednesday, y’all! This week has gone by so quickly and slowly at the same time that I can hardly keep track of the days–on Monday, I thought it was Wednesday, and this morning I thought it was Thursday. Probably a byproduct of law school. We’re getting to the point in the semester where finals are on the horizon, which is code for an increase in your coffee intake and library hours. But, that doesn’t mean all of the fun comes to an end!
Tomorrow night we have our annual journal banquet at Jackson Brewery, complete with dinner and drinks, so something to get me through this day! I haven’t decided what to wear…..but I’m hoping something in my closet inspires me last minute. Plus, spring has finally sprung in New Orleans! We have a few weeks of absolutely perfect weather, where there’s plenty of sunshine without the humidity and heat that comes with the summer. For me, that’s the cue to bring out the white denim in full force; something about it feels so spring friendly. You can really pair anything with white denim, even more white, but I personally love the way a crisp chambray blouse contrasts with stark white. Lately, this Draper James button down has been a favorite! It’s hard not to love a blouse that brings comfort, causal, and prep together, especially with a little bit of ruffle to spice things up.
Have a great rest of the week!
